Support the Birmingham Public Library by purchasing books from the Friends of the BPL.

Members of the Birmingham African American Genealogy Group. Inc. visited the bookstore to purchase books to read and for research. The money's collected by the Friends of the Birmingham Public Library goes to help the library's in Jefferson County purchase much needed items for the libraries patrons. The bookstore is now open 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday by appointment only 10:00 am -2:00pm. There are thousands of books, tapes, videos etc. of all types.
